Kedar Mate, PhD is a medical student at McGill University. He is a physical therapist by training and completed his PhD in Rehabilitation from McGill University. His area of research is development of health outcomes measure using modern psychometrics such as Rasch Measurement Theory and knowledge translation. He is also interested in advanced statistical methods such as Structured Equation Modelling, Latent Class Analysis. His clinical and research training has prepared him to embark on an academic career focused on developing interventions to improve health in vulnerable populations and mentoring students.
